Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Multifamily Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager in overseeing field operations and productivity of multifamily construction projects. This role ensures that all construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and local building codes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with hands-on experience in the construction industry.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesConstruction Management Ensure field supervisors submit daily reports in a timely and accurate manner Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and mobilization Assist Production Manager in reviewing and approving subcontractor pay applications in conjunction with payroll Assist in monitoring labor output and field productivity, adjusting crews as needed for efficiency Maintain backend schedules to ensure milestone targets are met Assist Production Manager by Oversee day-to-day field operations on-site or remotely, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control measures throughout construction Resolve field issues and scheduling conflicts proactively Maintain regular communication with foremen, ensuring alignment with project goals Team & Client Coordination Step in to lead internal team meetings to review progress, performance, and challenges when Production Manager is not available Project Closeout Coordinate warranty documentation and project handoff Assist to oversee and manage daily on-site construction operations. Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, deliveries, materials, and equipment. Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and building codes. Conduct daily site walkthroughs to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Job QualificationsEducation High school diploma or equivalent required. Skills 3+ years of experience in multifamily or residential construction supervision. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and codes. Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate field operations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proficient in daily reporting and use of basic project management tools/apps. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and effectively. OSHA 10/30 certification preferred. Working Conditions Combination of office and on-site projects. Physical Requirements Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery. Regular travel between job sites may be required.
