Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
The Human Resources Associate to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain personnel records
Update internal databases (attendance, rosters, termination, etc.)
Prepare HR documents (offer letters, written warnings, performance, etc.)
Create regular reports on HR metrics
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Review and process timesheets
Handle new hire paperwork, uniforms, timeclocks, etc.
Conducting new employee orientations
Data Entry
Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Minimum of 2yrs experience working in human resources
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
Knowledge of database software, email systems, and Microsoft office software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Empathy and an approachable demeanor.
Detail oriented, attentiveness and honesty.
Education and Experience
2-year degree preferred with background in business or HR or an equivalent time worked in the HR field
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
