Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors while preventing unauthorized access Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify suspicious activity or safety hazards Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas and detect unusual behavior Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if trained Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes Enforce security policies and conflict management procedures with professionalism and tact Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address incidents effectively Skills Strong awareness of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle tense situations calmly and effectively Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and loss prevention tactics Experience or background in security, military service, or law enforcement is advantageous Excellent observation skills combined with the ability to remain alert during long shifts Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals in high-pressure situations Pay: From $17.00 per hour Work Location: In person
