Our client, a leading university, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support to staff, faculty, and students. This role requires experience supporting both Mac and Windows systems in a fast-paced academic environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot macOS and Windows workstations.Assist with user account setup, access management, and system updates.Support classroom and office technology, including AV equipment and printers.Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of technical support experience, preferably in an educational or enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 environments.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to provide professional, customer-focused service to a diverse user base.Compensation: $20-24/hrSalary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.Schedule:Tuesday, May 5Wednesday, May 6Thursday, May 7Monday, May 11Tuesday, May 12Wednesday, May 13Thursday, May 14
