You will spend a significant portion of your time performing smartphone repairs, while also assisting customers, recommending solutions, and supporting daily store operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevice Repair (Primary Focus)Diagnose and repair smartphones (iPhone & Android)Screen replacementsBattery replacementsCharging portsSpeakers, microphones, and other componentsPerform troubleshooting and diagnosticsFollow Apple and Samsung certified repair proceduresMaintain high standards for quality and accuracyCustomer Service & SalesGreet customers and identify their needsRecommend the right battery, lighting, or repair solutionClearly explain repair options, pricing, and timelinesDeliver a professional and positive customer experienceBattery & Technical ServicesTest and install automotive batteriesPerform battery rebuilds (tool batteries, specialty packs)Assist with UPS battery replacements and testingSupport other in-store technical servicesStore OperationsOpen and close the store (as scheduled)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAccurately process transactions and repair ticketsSupport team performance and daily operationsQualificationsRequiredHands-on experience repairing smartphones (iPhone & Android)Comfortable using tools and working with small componentsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and professionalCertification RequirementMust be willing to complete and maintain:Apple repair certification trainingSamsung repair certification trainingTraining will be provided, but certification is required as part of the role and must be completed within a defined timeframe.Preferred (Not Required)Tablet or gaming console repair experienceMicro-soldering experienceBattery rebuild or electrical experienceRetail/customer service backgroundCompensation & Benefits$18 – $25 per hour (based on experience)Performance-based bonus opportunitiesPaid training and certification supportClear path for advancement:Lead TechnicianStore ManagerPaid Working Interview (Skill-Based Hiring)We hire based on real ability-not just resumes.
