Company Big Heart Theater group that works with teens and adults with IDD. Rehearsals are at the Bachman Recreation Center at 2750 Bachman Drive 75220.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) located in Dallas, TX. The CNA will be responsible for providing compassionate care to actors with IDD at the Bachman Recreation Center during rehearsals.QualificationsBasic knowledge of theater, i.e. was in a play in schoolProficiency in monitoring vital signs, recognizing changes in conditions.Current CNA certification and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certificationPrevious experience in a healthcare or nursing home is preferredEmpathy, patience, and the ability to have funMust know what to do if a person is having a seizure and to recognize when a person is having a seizure.Must know how to appropriately lift an adult who has fallen, with assistance.Must know first aid.DatesStarts March 4 and ends April 25Wednesdays from 2:30-5:30 and Saturdays from 9:30-12:30Pay$25/hr for a total of 45 hours = $1125.00
