Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for precision assembly work. As a Machine Operator at Polargy Inc., you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Operate drill presses, pneumatic punches, saws, and related production equipment to manufacture components according to specifications. Set up, adjust, and monitor drill press operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform pre-assembly of parts and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and basic technical drawings. Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with production requirements. Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards. Identify and report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns. Assist with general production, assembly, and material handling tasks as needed. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
