Salary: $15.00 Hourly Location : Blue BellJob Type: Casual Part-TimeJob Number: 202600142Division: Business & Professional StudiesDepartment: Culinary ArtsOpening Date: 02/20/2026FLSA: Non-ExemptReports To: Director of HospitalityClassification: CASUALBASIC PURPOSEBasic Purpose:Reporting to the Hospitality Institute Operations and Events Manager, this part-time, temporary casual role assists with the execution of daily operations in the Hospitality Institute (HI).*This position requires the PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Check and FBI Fingerprints as a condition of employment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHospitality Institute Aide Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Operations and Events manager:Maintains organization and cleanliness of Hospitality Institute labs, sculleries, dry storage, coolers, freezers, and equipment based on HACCP and standard operating procedures.Execute daily dishwashing duties and cleaning of dish roomInspects food and product deliveries received against invoices for accuracy and quality.Stocks, restocks, and rotates inventory in dry storage, coolers, and freezers.Fills requisitions for Hospitality Institute functions including labs, culinary enthusiast sessions, and summer camps.Prepares, labels, and stores food product consistent with industry and Hospitality Institute StandardsAssists in preparation, set-up, execution, breakdown, and cleaning of catering and campus program events.Performs related duties as assigned.
