Human Resources Representative
Job Description:The Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations and serves as a primary point of contact for employees. This role is responsible for payroll administration, employee records management, benefits coordination, compliance reporting, and HR operational support. The position works closely with internal departments to ensure accurate recordkeeping, efficient HR processes, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Pay & BenefitsPay Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per hourBenefits (after 90 days):Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with up to 5% employer matchPaid time off starting at approximately 10 days annually11 paid holidays per yearHybrid schedule:In-office Monday–WednesdayRemote Thursday–FridayKey ResponsibilitiesPayroll & CompensationProcess and verify payroll data including hours worked, deductions, adjustments, and PTO accrualsAdminister wage garnishments and mandated deductionsProcess employee status changes including promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminationsAudit payroll-related invoices and verify accuracy before payment submissionBenefits AdministrationServe as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiriesSupport medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) administrationCoordinate annual open enrollment and benefits communicationProcess benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departmentsCompliance & ReportingMaintain accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and employment regulationsAssist with compliance reporting including EEO-1 and California Pay Data ReportingCoordinate unemployment claims and support workers' compensation processesComplete employment verification requests and maintain HR documentationEmployee Records & HR SupportMaintain onboarding records, personnel files, policy acknowledgments, and HR correspondenceRespond to routine HR inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and proceduresSupport employee communication and documentation processesHR OperationsPrepare and analyze HR reports and workforce tracking dataAssist with meetings, training sessions, and HR initiativesIdentify process improvement opportunities to support operational efficiencyQualifications0–1 year of Human Resources experience or related training preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredCollege degree preferred but not requiredStrong Microsoft Excel skills highly preferredBilingual in Spanish or Japanese is a plus, but not requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-based roleHybrid work schedule available after training periodOccasional local travel may be required
