In this role, you will perform administrative and secretarial duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of a professional group or organizational department. You'll play a key role in keeping the department running efficiently, relieving leadership of clerical and administrative responsibilities, and ensuring day-to-day operations flow smoothly.Job responsibilities: Works closely with the Vice President of Human Resources on various special projects as well as daily workflow and provides administrative and clerical assistanceManages and maintains VP schedule, calendar, independently schedules appointments or meetings, and coordinates travel arrangementsCoordinates annual year-end process to include employee performance evaluations, and annual contractsWorks closely with Information Systems to facilitate and coordinate process, along with VP, and outside consultantsAssists in administration of compensation program; maintains grade and salary listingAssists in preparation of data for Compensation Committee, to include salary benchmarkingMaintains HR specific databases including Foundation-wide job descriptions, and employee policies and proceduresAssists in the maintaining of HRIS records and compiles reports from database as neededCoordinates employee annual enrollment of health insurance, life insurance, and flexible spending accountsAssists employees with health insurance, prescription, life insurance, and other benefit-related issues by maintaining working relationships with insurance representativesAssists in coordination of organizational management development training, and employee recognition programsComposes and prepares detailed correspondence, reports, and presentationsFacilitates arrangements for meetings and programsCompiles and facilitates the approval of documents such as check requests, purchase orders, and expense reportsCoordinates annual pension statements output and record keepingIndependently prioritizes workloadPerforms miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned Education and Qualifications2-4 year college degree or certification in a related field, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of executive support experience, Human Resources experience preferredDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of employees including senior management, outside vendors, consultants, and regulatory agenciesKnowledge of federal and state employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferredProficiency with various office related computer software applications, including Microsoft office, Power Point, and ExcelBasic working knowledge of a fully integrated Human Resource and Payroll computer systemAbility to identify and organize priorities, coordination of projects, and must be able to work independentlyDemonstrated high level of discretion and confidentialitySRG4 Life Sciences delivers flexible staffing solutions nationwide, specializing in pharmaceutical, CDMO/CMO, medical device, clinical research, PBM, pharmacy, food and beverage, nutraceutical, laboratory, and consumer product sectors.
