Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked items while ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Decorate cakes and other baked goods to meet customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking area. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; assist in ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout the baking process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices. Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
