2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction. The TKO program is seeking a System Admin to serve on the operations support team in DTS, responsible for dataflow implementation from legacy to modern systems and monitoring implemented dataflows.
Required Skills:
Linux System Administrator
Running Security Scans
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence for documentation and Jira for workflow management and ticketing
Provisioning virtual machine resources utilizing AWS
TPAM for account management
Experience using OME for planned and unplanned outage coordination
Triage, track, collaborate on and facilitate Help Desk tickets
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area).
OR
A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
