We encourage you to take the first step towards a fulfilling career with us!Position Overview:The Resident Services Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) plays a crucial role in assisting the Resident Services Director with the comprehensive implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services within the community.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the Resident Services Department staff, including Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s).Assist in managing the medication program and support residents in self-administering their medications.Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and medical professionals.Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.Assist in completing resident assessments and developing service plans.Support clinical assessments and recertifications in accordance with ALSA requirements.Help the Resident Services Director with hiring and performance management within the department.Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.Engage in scheduled in-service training programs and team meetings.Assist with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as necessary.Provide coaching and mentorship to staff in the Resident Services Department as needed.Support residents and their families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.Supervise RSA staff during care provision.Perform additional duties as assigned.Compliance & Safety:Adhere to emergency procedures.Understand and implement safety practices and protocols.Communication:Effectively communicate with supervisors and colleagues.Maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.Promote a positive work environment.Qualifications:Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the relevant state(s).Basic first aid and CPR certification.Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred.Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us:Competitive pay rates.Flexible scheduling options.Opportunities for professional growth.Bonus and incentive programs.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, paid time off, life insurance, and voluntary Aflac insurance for full-time employees.Licenses & CertificationsRequired:Licensed Practical NursePreferred:Registered NurseWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to protecting veterans and individuals with disabilities.
