Senior Architect - Institutional Projects

Their portfolio spans libraries, higher education facilities, residential and recreational developments, corporate offices, museums, and visitor centers, with a strong track record of award-winning design work across the country.Why is this role open:The firm is growing its project leadership bench and is looking for a seasoned Project Architect to partner directly with the principals on a varied portfolio of academic, cultural, and commercial projects.Responsibilities:Lead design and documentation on multiple concurrent projects, from early concept through constructionContribute actively to the firm's design dialogue and creative cultureManage consultant coordination, project schedules, and technical detailingOversee construction administration across project phasesMentor junior staff and support their professional growthCollaborate closely with clients and principals throughout the design processMust-haves: Professional degree in ArchitectureActive architectural licensure8+ years of professional experience across all project phasesProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong design sensibility paired with technical depthExperience working alongside consultant teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNice-to-haves: 3D modeling and rendering experience in Rhino, V-Ray, or EnscapeLEED accreditation or project experienceBackground working on academic, cultural, or civic project typesWork style: Fully on-siteCompensation: $100,000 to $130,000 base salary, plus benefitsKnow someone great?
