Company Description Therapist owned company providing OT services for local school contracts. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) located in Orange Beach, AL. The role involves implementing individualized therapy plans and providing hands-on therapy to support academic performance/goals. Additionally, the role includes documenting student progress, collaborating with school staff and teachers, and working with pediatric clients in the school setting to promote their independence and academic performance. Qualifications Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, treatment planning, and techniquesUnderstanding of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles to aid in patient recoveryStrong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teamsExperience working with Pediatrics is a plusAppropriate educational credentials and relevant licensure or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist or OTACompassion, patience, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for patients
