A reputable and growing Agronomy company is looking to add a Sales Agronomist to their team. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the right individual.Sales Agronomist ResponsibilitiesMake seed, fertilizer, and herbicide recommendations to growersBuild and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to promote repeat businessManage and grow a sales territory through prospecting and customer servicePrepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactionsWork alongside agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer successKeep up to date on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Ag technologyForecast product and supply needs on a monthly and annual basisSales Agronomist QualificationsAgronomy sales experience preferredExisting book of business preferred, but not requiredDegree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experienceSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a teamCompensation & BenefitsCompensation ranging from $60,000-$120,000+ depending on experience401(k) with company matchCompany vehicle provided for outside salesTerritory opportunities available in Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, and MissouriPlease submit a resume for consideration.
