The AI Analyst position analyzes new/existing business challenges in order to design and implement innovative AI solutions. These solutions enable our colleagues and clients to fully embrace the advantages of AI and AI-driven automation. These solutions will vary from complete custom-builds to service specific AI components. We’re looking for dedicated people who are passionate about data science, statistics and operational efficiency.Job Responsibilities:AI Development & Data ScienceDesign, develop and maintain AI/ML solutions for various business unitsDrive end-to-end AI/ML development including data preparation, model development/training, testing and performance monitoringIntegrate models into workflows to support Operational goalsEnsure solutions abide by stated organizational policies including data security and privacyMonitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and reliabilityCollaboration & StrategyWork closely with operations, client services and IT teams to define automation needs and business requirementsTranslate operational challenges into analytical frameworks and AI solutionsPresent complex insights in clear, actionable language for management, Operations and IT staffSupport automation initiatives that reduce manual processing and improve efficiencyQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or related field5+ years professional experience with AI/ML model development and maintenanceProficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pillow)Proficiency with inference engines (Ollama, vLLM)Proficiency with Ubuntu/Linux platformsProficiency with DockerProficiency with NLP frameworks (BERT, RoBERTa)Proficiency with PDF Parsing and Extraction tools (Tesseract OCR, PDF Plumber, VLM models)Strong data analysis skillsExcellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience in the insurance industry, claims data structures and/or claims management systemsKnowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Experience with MLOps practices for deploying and monitoring predictive modelsCompensation and Benefits:Salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE)Premium Health Coverage, Minus the Cost: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental insurance with minimal out-of-pocket employee premiumsTime to Recharge: Enjoy a generous 18 days of PTO from year one, plus 9 paid holidays to ensure you stay refreshedInvested in Your Future: Secure your tomorrow with our 401(k) plan, featuring a competitive company match to help your savings grow fasterWe look forward to you joining the team!ARMStrong Insurance Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
