Telecommunications Engineer

Job Description Overview:We are seeking a motivated Telecommunications professional to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of communication systems across a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure including voice, data, and wireless networks in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems including fiber optics, cabling, wireless networks, and voice systemsSupport network infrastructure projects from planning through executionTroubleshoot connectivity issues and perform system diagnostics to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutionsReview technical drawings, specifications, and system designsEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirementsProvide documentation, reporting, and updates on project status and system performanceParticipate in system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or related fieldKnowledge of fiber optics, structured cabling, LAN/WAN, and wireless systemsFamiliarity with telecom standards and protocols (e.g., VoIP, TCP/IP, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompany DescriptionWe represent a Philadelphia‐based MEP engineering firm dedicated to delivering innovative, efficient, and reliable building system designs.
