This position will be a full-time, contract role, and is fully remote (EST).What You'll DoAnalyze, design, code, test, and implement Salesforce Public Sector Solutions application codeDevelop integrations using Salesforce APIs to connect Salesforce with State and legacy systemsDesign and implement Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI) solutions using Salesforce PSS data modelsCollaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles and deploymentsFollow DoIT coding standards and best practices, including test-driven development and low-code/no-code principlesProduce estimates for development tasks and review peers' estimates for accuracy and completenessCreate data models, tables, and dimension models using Informatica ETL toolsLead and execute end-to-end data migrations from legacy systems into SalesforceAssess source systems, including data volume, quality, schemas, and integration pointsDefine migration approaches, including ETL/ELT methods, migration waves, incremental vs. full loads, and cutover strategiesMap legacy data to Salesforce standard and custom objects, record types, relationships, and external IDsDefine and implement data transformation rules, normalization standards, and deduplication logicEnsure hierarchy and referential integrity across accounts, contacts, cases, and related recordsConduct dry runs and performance testing with realistic data volumesOrchestrate final data loads, post-load remediation, and index updatesValidate automations to ensure migrated data does not break triggers, flows, or validation rulesUse tools such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard for migration executionEnsure protection of PHI, PII, and PCI data throughout development and migration activitiesWhat You'll NeedRequired:6–8 years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, specifically Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections data models5–8 years of hands-on experience with OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)4+ years of end-to-end data migration experience from legacy systems to Salesforce4+ years of experience configuring complex Salesforce sharing modelsStrong experience integrating Salesforce with external and legacy systems using APIsAbility to work independently while collaborating within a development teamExperience estimating work, managing risks, and identifying blockersAbility to work Eastern Time Zone business hoursAll education, degrees, and certifications must include completion datesPreferred:Experience using Informatica ETL toolsExperience working in government or public-sector environmentsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the timeAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824-8111.Benefits$65 - $75 per hour.
