Key Responsibilities Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) for new hardware concepts. Assist in the design, layout, and fabrication of printed circuit boards and mechanical prototypes. Perform hands‑on assembly, integration, and functional testing of hardware components. Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, optics, and physics engineers to iterate designs and resolve technical issues. Document design decisions, test results, and project progress for internal review. Requirements Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering program (or related field). Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent) and basic knowledge of PCB design. Experience with hands‑on prototyping, soldering, and hardware testing tools.
