The Accountant III works closely with the grant program managers to ensure expenditures follow the granting agency and the City's purchasing regulations. This position is responsible for the periodic financial reporting required by the grants and ensuring that periodic programmatic reports are submitted by the established guidelines. This position is responsible for developing the budget for newly awarded grants, submitting budgeting information into the City's budget system and for compiling reports for the City's annual SEFA report.IDEAL CANDIDATEThe Ideal Candidate Will Have The Ability ToContinuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes.
