With our specialization of filling Human Resources Jobs Nationwide, the Arlington Resources team has established relationships with the highest caliber of professionals in the field.Our client located in Chicago, IL (60601) is seeking a Contract Legal Secretary.Responsibilities:Draft, format, proofread, and process legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, subpoenas, correspondence, and investigative reports.Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential case and registration records.Track case activity, deadlines, and required actions, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.Serve as primary point of contact for complaints, respondents, witnesses, and attorneys, handling communications with professionalism and discretion.Coordinate hearings, meetings, and internal discussions, including calendar management and preparation of materials.Qualifications:Associates Degree is required, Bachelors Degree is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of legal secretary experience supporting attorneys in a litigation, regulatory, or court environment.Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and ethical standards.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including complex document formatting.Pay rate is $30-35/hr DOE. Contract is expected to last about 6 months.
