Automotive Controller

Are you an experienced automotive accounting professional with expertise in Reynolds and Reynolds? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy traveling? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Automotive Controller to join our expanding team! In this role, you will be essential to our success, traveling to various dealerships in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and the surrounding States. Your mission will be to provide crucial support, ensure financial accuracy, and streamline accounting operations across our locations. Key Responsibilities: Travel and Support: Travel to different automotive dealerships within the DFW market and the surrounding States. Provide on-site assistance, support, and problem-solving as needed. Reynolds and Reynolds Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds software to address system issues, perform data entry, generate reports, and troubleshoot problems. Accounting Office Management: Oversee and support all accounting office functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, ensuring smooth operations and accurate financial reporting. Financial Accuracy: Maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting operations. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in automotive dealership accounting with comprehensive knowledge of every position within the accounting office. Strong proficiency with Reynolds and Reynolds software and systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with dealership staff and management. Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays in both the DFW market and surrounding States. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
