Building Maintenance Technician - Building SystemsPay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 / hourQuad Sussex, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and operation of facility building systems and infrastructure . This role focuses on maintaining HVAC, plumbing, utilities, and general building systems to ensure a safe and reliable work environment.Candidates with general maintenance experience are encouraged to apply— HVAC or electrical experience is a plus, but not required .Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates located 100+ miles from the plant.Why Join QuadCompetitive pay based on experienceExcellent benefits packageStrong team culture and supportive work environmentSchedule:Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next)Rotating days every 4 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesBuilding Systems & MaintenancePerform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and utilitiesAssist with maintaining heating, cooling, and ventilation systemsSupport upkeep of refrigeration equipment such as coolers and air dryersHelp maintain water systems, including basic treatment and monitoringGeneral Facility Maintenance* Complete general building repairs such as:Plumbing fixtures (toilets, sinks, drains)Minor wall repairs, painting, and ceiling tile replacementRoof leak patching and basic structural repairs* Maintain and repair doors, dock equipment, and other facility componentsEquipment & Mechanical Support* Assist with maintenance of motors, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment* Perform basic fabrication, repairs, and adjustments as neededGrounds & Seasonal Work* Perform basic grounds maintenance and landscaping* Assist with snow removal and operate equipment as neededSafety & TeamworkFollow all safety policies and proceduresKeep work areas clean and organizedWork from maintenance schedules, service requests, and team prioritiesCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experienceWillingness to learn and take on a variety of maintenance tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime as neededRequired SkillsBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience xawqmyg using hand and power tools safelyAbility to follow instructions and read basic technical informationStrong work ethic and reliabilityMust provide own basic hand toolsPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or building systemsBasic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, or troubleshooting)Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentTechnical training or certifications in maintenance-related fieldsValid driver's license (for snow removal equipment operation)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionallyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsAbility to work at heights and in confined spacesAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsAbility to work 12-hour shifts
