OT Technical Architect

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an OT Technical Architect with our power technology client in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 7-month contract with a potential for extension.Pay: $55.00 - $65.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.Schedule: This is a remote position with standard working hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in either the EST or CST time zones, with some flexibility available.Description:Design and define secure OT architectures aligned to business, safety, and operational constraints across industrial environments, leveraging an OT strategic roadmap and cybersecurity vision.Core Responsibilities:Ability to lead design strategy and OT architecture across large groups and initiativesSolid communicationsAbility to define, bridge, and communicate the direction of OT target-state cybersecurity architecturesPartner w/Cyber teams to align OT architecture strategy with overall cyber roadmapAct as the main resource lead for OT Security Analyst supportDesign strategy for visibility, secure remote access, segmentation, zoning, and conduit models per IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82r3Develop and publish secure reference architectures for:Manufacturing sitesRemote accessOther as needed related to OT securitySupport, evaluate, select, and implement OT security technologies (visibility, SRA, endpoint protection, segmentation, monitoring, vulnerability, identity, data security, etc.)Lead OT cybersecurity design reviews and technical security requirementsProvide OT architectural guidance to:Engineering teamsSystem integratorsIT, MFG-IT teamsCybersecurity teamsTranslate cybersecurity requirements into implementable designs aligned with the OT cybersecurity strategySupport M&A or greenfield OT security architectures across domestic/international MFG discussions and projectsParticipating in and support OT tabletop exercises as neededAlign OT security architecture to controls from IEC 62443, NIST SP800-82r3, CISv8, NIST CSF.Communicate and share updates with leadershipRequired Skills & Experience:7-12+ years in Networking with OT/ICS environmentsStrong architecture experience across:Industrial networksOT DMZ designSecure remote accessOT monitoring platformsNetworking - Routing & Switching conceptsNetwork & security architecture designSegmentationDeep knowledge of:IEC 62443, NIST SP800-82r3, NIST CSF, CISv8Purdue Model / OSI / TCPIP ModelZero Trust concepts applied to OTAbility to balance:WorkloadSafetyAvailabilitySecurityPreferred Certifications:IEC 62443 Cybersecurity ExpertCISSPSANS OT CertificationsCCNP / CCIE / CCDE (Industrial & security focus)Industry Architectural FrameworksNote: The role requires approximately 10% travel to Columbus, IN.Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
