Put your strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and flair for cooperative supplier relationships to good use as a Senior Purchaser. As part of the Central Purchasing department, you will be based at our Carbel site in Miami.We are looking for support across various commodities in our Central Purchasing department, including procurement of transport services, technical purchasing (automation technology), and project purchasing.YOUR TASKSPreparation, management, and implementation of strategic procurement projects in Central PurchasingPlacing tenders on the market and conducting negotiations through to contract signingIndependently supporting a wide variety of projectsAdvising our business units from a commercial perspective, including on all matters related to the procurement processCreating transparency through data analysis, procurement market analysis, and benchmarksActively shaping the optimization of purchasing processes with a view to the strategic orientation of Central PurchasingLeading and supporting a team of two purchasing professionals, including performance management and day-to-day oversightYOUR PROFILESuccessfully completed (commercial) vocational training or a completed degree in economics, business administration, or logisticsSeveral years of professional experience in indirect or strategic purchasingAbility to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and remain open to new challengesEnjoyment of negotiations and supplier engagementAffinity for numbers, with confident handling of KPIs and data analysisConfident use of Microsoft products, especially Excel and Word; ERP/SAP knowledge desirableBusiness fluent English; Spanish language skills are a plusTeam player with the ability to actively approach people and take initiative within larger organizationsWE OFFERMedical and Life insurancePaid Time Off, including paid holidaysVoluntary benefits such as Dental, Vision, and Gap insurance, short-term disability, paid family leave, accident insurance, critical illness and cancer insuranceA modern, international, and open corporate culture where you are invited to contribute and develop your skillsA comprehensive benefits packageFlat hierarchies reflected in our informal culture and quick decision-making processes.
