Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and efficiency Maintain proper food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations Support food service operations by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery to customers Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Culinary experience or dietary aide background is desirable but not mandatory Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within the operational hours of the establishment Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $10.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
