Admissions Assistant
Position OverviewThe Admissions Assistant provides administrative, operational, and data support for studentrecruitment, admissions, and enrollment management. This role serves as a key point of contact forprospective families while also supporting the systems, data tracking, and communication workflowsthat drive enrollment strategy.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy, with experience working indatabases and spreadsheets. Familiarity with the admissions cycle—particularly in a school orcollege setting—is strongly preferred. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-onexperience in admissions, marketing, data management, and event planning—serving as a strongfoundation for future growth in enrollment and education leadershipKey ResponsibilitiesAdmissions Operations and Customer ServiceServe as a primary point of contact for prospective families, providing timely and professional communicationSchedule interviews, testing, campus visits, and admissions appointmentsSupport application processing and ensure completion of required materialsAssist with admissions communications and enrollment materialsData Management and SystemsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in the admissions CRM/databaseManage and track inquiries, applications, and enrollment dataSupport data entry, imports/exports, and list management for events and outreachGenerate reports and assist with data analysis to support enrollment goalsAssist in building and maintaining communication workflows (e.g., email campaigns, eventfollow-ups)Events and RecruitmentCoordinate logistics for admissions events (open houses, shadow days, testing, etc.)Support outreach efforts with feeder schools and community partnersAssist with Student Ambassadors and event volunteersProvide on-site support during events, including occasional evenings and weekendsAdministrative SupportSupport daily operations of the admissions officeAssist with special projects and process improvementsEnsure materials, files, and systems are organized and accessibleQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred1–3 years of experience in admissions, higher education, school administration, or customer service preferred (including internships or student employment in an admissions or enrollment office)Experience working in an admissions office, college setting, or enrollment environment strongly preferredStrong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel (data tracking, basic analysis, spreadsheets), google drive and database/CRM systemsAbility to learn and manage new systems and technology quicklyStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environmentDiscretion and ability to maintain confidentialityBilingual English/Spanish preferredAvailability for occasional evening and weekend events
