This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cross-border transactions for clients across technology, healthcare, telecommunications, life sciences, and digital infrastructure sectors.About The RoleThe Counsel will provide strategic legal advice and representation on mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, majority and minority investments, spinouts, take-privates, and corporate governance matters. This is a senior-level role with direct client engagement, team leadership, and active participation in business development.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise corporate clients, financial sponsors, and investors on complex M&A and private equity transactionsDraft, negotiate, and review securities purchase agreements, merger agreements, operating agreements, guarantees, and governance documentsAnalyze sophisticated governance and investment structuring issues, including hostile takeovers and shareholder activism defenseCounsel on cross-border and sector-specific deals in healthcare, digital infrastructure, datacenter, and cryptocurrency industriesLead and supervise associates at all levels, ensuring high-quality client deliverablesContribute to marketing initiatives, client pitches, and recruitment processesWho You AreJD from an accredited U.S. law schoolMinimum 9 years’ experience in M&A and/or private equity at a top-tier law firmExtensive experience in cross-border corporate transactions, capital markets work, and private equity investmentsDemonstrated expertise in healthcare, technology, life sciences, and telecommunications sectorsStrong leadership, mentoring, and client relationship management skillsAdmitted to practice law in New YorkCompensation & Benefits💲 Salary: $445,000 – $510,000 (DOE, New York market range)⚖️ Bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package🌍 Opportunity to lead and shape high-value domestic and international transactions📩 To apply or discuss further, contact Freddie at freddie@thepeopleof.co.uk.#TPOPS
