Python Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJSchedule: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)Employment Type: ContractOverviewWe are seeking a Python Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on developing and enhancing enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, exposure to full-stack technologies, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.Build and support full-stack applications leveraging modern web technologies.Develop and optimize integrations with SQL databases and large-scale data platforms.Collaborate with team leads, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented programming principles.Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities.Contribute to application performance, scalability, and reliability initiatives.Required SkillsStrong Python development experience.Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Hands-on experience with SQL databases.Front-end development experience with Angular.Experience developing applications using Node.js.Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystems and large-scale data processing.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Work LocationThis role is based in Jersey City, NJ, with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite.
