The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, Scala, Spring Framework, multithreading, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development. You will work on enterprise-scale applications, delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applicationsBuild secure and high-performance REST APIs and distributed systemsDevelop microservices using modern Java technologiesParticipate in architecture, design discussions, and technical decision-makingWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentOptimize application performance through profiling and tuningContribute to CI/CD automation and DevOps best practicesMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practicesRequired Skills8+ years of software development experience with Java 8 or aboveStrong knowledge of Java 9+ featuresHands-on experience with ScalaStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and AlgorithmsExpertise in Multithreading, Collections Framework, and Concurrent APIsExperience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)Strong experience building RESTful APIs and Web Services (REST/SOAP)Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated unit testingExperience with Maven, Gradle, or AntExperience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience working with Relational and/or NoSQL databasesExperience with Messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, etc.)Strong Linux/Unix command line and Shell scripting experiencePreferred Skills:Experience building Microservices architectureKnowledge of Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience with API Management and Swagger/OpenAPIExperience with Performance Tuning and Application ProfilingKnowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformExperience with TDD/BDDExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience with Frontend technologies (React, Angular, etc.) is a plusExperience with Security/Identity platforms such as Okta or Ping Identity is a plus
