The Production Painter candidate will be responsible for painting production parts to specifications and quality standards.Other Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for accepting only parts that are properly prepared for paintResponsible for manually moving parts through the painting, flashing, and drying sections of thepaint systemResponsible for the entire paint process including but not limited to:mixing paints and solvents according to manufacturer’s specificationscorrect operation of automated mixing equipmentapplication of liquid paint to meet specifications using electrostatic and traditional paint gunsassuring that parts reside in the flashing and drying sections of the paint system for the specified timeinspection of work and correction to work as necessaryperiodic cleaning/flushing of paint/solvent delivery systems as requiredResponsible for having maintenance of all paint system equipment accomplished as specified,whether scheduled with the Maintenance Department or as part of the paint work processMaintain cleanliness and organization of the paint system and work areaAssist as needed in all areas of the paint line operationFollow the policies as outlined in the Company Employee HandbookBasic QualificationsCandidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform strenuous repetitive workAbility to work while wearing respirator and protective clothingMust pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit testShould possess an attention to detail and desire to produce high quality partsAbility to follow oral and written instructionsSelf-starterQualified applicants must be 19+ years of age, meet background check, pre-employment drug testing and previous employment reference verification requirements.
