CNC Programmer

*Job Overview* We are seeking highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC Milling machine programs. *Responsibilities* * Develop and write CNC programs for CNC Mills using Fanuc & Haas controls. * Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining processes aligned with design specifications. * Set up machining tools and fixtures on CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling selection based on project requirements. * Conduct precision measurements using calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments to verify part dimensions and quality. * Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. * Troubleshoot programming issues and machine malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. * Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs, provide feedback on manufacturability, and implement improvements in CNC programming workflows. *Requirements* * Proven experience programming CNC mills. * Familiarity with Fanuc controls and Haas controls. * Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics accurately. * Experience with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control purposes. * Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and improve productivity. * Ability to work with various materials used in metal machining and possess a strong foundation in machining tool setup and geometry considerations.
