Special Education Teacher

DescriptionThe Dodgeland School District is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Dodgeland is a progressive, rural school dedicated to cultivating a culture of high expectations and healthy relationships and ensuring high quality instruction is occurring for every child.The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in:* Demonstrating a belief that ALL students can achieve high levels of learning and inspire them to dream big.* Supporting the unique needs of each student through active collaboration with classroom tachers, therapists, and support personnel.* Preparing and implementing thorough IEP documentation with appropriate, student-specific modifications and accommodations.* Creating a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity level and interests of students.* Effectively engaging students in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.* Developing excellent working relationships and consulting with peers, as well as with community and agency stakeholders.* Interacting and communicating effectively with parents.* Assessing the accomplishments and achievement of students on a regular basis. Provide progress reports for students, parents, buildings teams, and administrators.
