As a Pet Groomer, you will bathe and clip dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for pets, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Brush and detangle or remove matted furBathe dogs and dry coatExecute a variety of clipping techniques and style requestsExamine for parasites or other skin conditionsTrim nails Ensure the safety of dogs at all timesAdhere to strict sanitary and cleaning proceduresCommunicate effectively and compassionately with pet ownersQualificationsPrevious experience as a dog grooming technician or similar roleComfortable working with anxious animalsAbility to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 poundsWillingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing educationAble to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog ownersStrong attention to detail
