About the Role
We're seeking a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test management and automation tools to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QA career to grow their skills while working across multiple projects in a collaborative, client-facing environment. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications
Manage test case documentation and traceability using Jira and Zephyr Scale
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
Write clear, behavior-driven test scenarios using Gherkin syntax
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and release readiness reviews
Support multiple concurrent projects and adapt to varying client requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage
Required Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
Working knowledge of Jira and Zephyr Scale (or similar test management tools)
Experience writing and executing test cases using Cypress
Familiarity with Gherkin/BDD syntax for writing test scenarios
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interface with clients remotely
Comfortable working independently in a distributed/remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript
Basic understanding of API testing concepts
Prior experience in a consulting or client services environment
