Integration Development Specialist
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Priton Group is a value added reseller of document management solutions including FileBound, PSIGEN and Kodak capture software and document scanners. We provide in-house and cloud based systems including document scanning, archival storage and retrieval, workflow and electronic forms. We are seeking a talented and versatile Custom Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Integration Development Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions tailored to our clients’ unique needs. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Development:
Design, develop, and implement custom software applications based on client requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and technical specifications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using various programming languages, including C#.
Leverage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to integrate third-party services and data sources.
Create custom modules, plugins, and extensions for existing platforms.
Optimize software performance and troubleshoot issues.
API Integration:
Work with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and other web services.
Integrate external APIs into our applications for data retrieval, authentication, and communication.
Ensure seamless data flow between different systems.
Scripting and Automation:
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system administration, automation, and task automation.
Develop PowerShell scripts for managing infrastructure, deploying applications, and configuring services.
Database Development:
Design and maintain databases (SQL, NoSQL) to support application functionality.
Write efficient database queries and optimize data retrieval.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of software components, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Identify and address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Documentation:
Document code, APIs, and architectural decisions.
Create user resources and technical documentation for end-users and internal teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proven experience as a Custom Software Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in C# and other development languages (e.g., Java, Python).
Familiarity with API design, RESTful services, and webhooks.
Knowledge of database systems (primarily MS SQL).
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS (Desirable)
Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Mobile app development (iOS, Android).
DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
Fluid use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines.
Detailed oriented with prompt follow up to questions and issues.
