Description:A fast-growing Grower/Packer/Shipper is adding a leader to their small sales team.Our client is a year-round Shipper throughout the Eastern US with growing partners in the Southeast.This person will build a sales arm for the company, providing support, feedback, and parameters for a team of reps to work within.This company has year-round supply of their core veg categories. (Carrots, Potatoes, Onions & lettuce)Our client has grown by over $70M in the last 5 years with a small, energetic and young sales team.This position is remote based within the Eastern US or Canada (Southeast U.S. preferred) with some travel.Responsibilities & Qualifications: Leading, mobilizing and developing an Account Management team.Deploying the sales strategy according to market conditions and operational realities.Oversee relationships with key customers and strategically stepping in when necessary.Previous sales experience within the veg category is required. (carrots, potatoes, onions and/or leafy greens preferred)Sales background in retail, wholesale and foodservice business segments.Thorough understanding of fresh produce supply base, production, and operations.Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant professional experience.The base salary the company may reasonably expect to pay for this role is $100,000 to $140,000. The actual salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
