Quality Assurance Tester

Conduct functional and regression tests on automated systems to ensure compliance with business practices and policies. Assist with comprehensive testing of enhancements to new and existing software and systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform regression tests on new and existing systems (legacy and vendor) when new or modified functions are introducedConduct functional tests to verify software operates correctly, interfaces properly with other systems, and generates appropriate reportsCreate and edit test cases in accordance with system requirementsIdentify and analyze business and system requirements, including needs, objectives, functions, features, and inputs/outputsDocument problems, potential causes, and recommended solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand project concepts, objectives, and approachesMaintain a complete testing log, including time spent testing, issues encountered, and any delays caused by incomplete documentation or testing tool deficienciesReview user documentation for accuracy prior to distribution and report any discrepancies or errors to the Software Testing AnalystsKey changes made:Removed the complexity tags (e.g. "Basic/Routine", "Moderately complex") as those read as internal notes, not job description languageConverted the run-on paragraph format into clean bullet pointsTightened and standardized the phrasing throughout
