QC Testing Technician I (Weekend Day Shift)

Job Description Perform electrical and software tests on large HVAC equipment while working with exposed voltages up to 1000V AC and/or DCAssist in creating, documenting, and/or updating test proceduresDocument Test recordsProvide support to engineering staff as neededParticipate in maintaining a clean and safe work environmentPerform inspection and testing on electrical componentsProvide leadership in pre and post-test sequence assembly and disassembly on all voltage classesPossess in-depth expertise in how to use and interact with manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in a manner that assures accurate findings in troubleshooting, problem solving, and determining optimum solutionsAssure an accurate and clear evaluation of test dataTreat all clients/customers in a respectful and attentive mannerPossess the discipline and rigor to safely perform work independently in a manner that delivers quality resultsEffectively interact with engineers and senior leadershipProvide direction and leadership in assuring all work is executed per all safe work practices, industry best practices, and certification requirements Supervise, lead, mentor, and/or train multiple technicians and/or crews as requiredWorking knowledge of: Fan systems, pumps, compressors, VFD’s, PLC’s, and Electro-mechanical controlsEssential Mental Functions Communicates effectively in written and spoken form. Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities. Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills. Works effectively in a team environment. Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.Essential Physical Functions Lift up to 50lbs. Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
