Life Insurance Sales Agent

Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You'll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process.We'll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Apply today!Responsibilities:Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept currentAid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claimsOnboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policiesDetermine new customers' insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possibleDevelop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new businessSales experience preferred – business mindset, no mile too farStrong communication skills, both written and verbalDesire to help families and businesses to "Be Good At Life"Strong business acumenProfessional business demeanorPerseverance in the face of a challengeAbility to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contactsQualifications:Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills are a mustPrevious health insurance or life insurance experience a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office productsAbility to understand the needs and financial concerns of clientsAbility to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially, so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounterPromote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goalsCultivating relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial securityAbility to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clientsProviding compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances ariseHaving a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of the community over timeAbout Company:New York Life Greater Atlanta's mission is to provide financial security and peace of mind through our insurance, annuity, and investment solutions.We act with integrity and humanity in all our interactions with our policy owners, business partners, and one another.
