Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machinery and equipment. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions. Conduct inspections and test equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to minimize production downtime. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in lumber processing or a similar industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
