Superintendent - Luxury & Custom HomesPosition OverviewExperienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for high-end custom and luxury home projects. The Superintendent will ensure projects are built to specification, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship while maintaining strict safety and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day on-site construction activities for multiple custom and luxury home projects, ensuring workmanship meets company and client standards.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and labor to maintain schedule and quality; resolve conflicts and performance issues promptly.Develop, maintain, and communicate accurate project schedules and work plans; adjust sequencing to meet milestones and deadlines.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards; prepare punch lists and oversee completion.Manage material deliveries, storage, and logistics to reduce downtime and protect high-end finishes and components.Review plans, shop drawings, and submittals; coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to clarify details and implement design intent.Monitor project budgets and labor costs; track progress and report on earned value, change orders, and cost impacts to project managers.Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and secure jobsite; lead toolbox talks and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety programs.Serve as the primary on-site client and homeowner liaison; communicate progress, address concerns, and present solutions in a professional manner.Coordinate inspections and work with building officials to obtain required approvals and certificates of occupancy.Document daily activities, progress photos, RFIs, and site logs; prepare regular progress reports for project managers and leadership.QualificationsMinimum 5-7 years of superintendent or lead field management experience on custom and/or luxury single-family home projects.Proven track record managing high-end finishes, complex details, and bespoke construction requirements.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, residential building codes, and best practices for quality control and finish carpentry.Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.Experience managing subcontractors, scheduling, budgeting, and change order processes.Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile reporting tools.Occupational Safety certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) and a demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety.Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills with the ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions on-site.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; willingness to work flexible hours as project needs demand.Preferred: background in carpentry or trade experience; degree or certificate in construction management, engineering, or related field.Benefits-Health Dental & Vision Coverage-PTO-401k-Car Allowance
