Portland, ME (Hybrid flexibility) Are you a Commercial Construction Estimator looking to step into one of the fastest-growing sectors in the U.S.? Were partnering with a growing EPC contractor delivering utility-scale solar, distributed generation (DG), and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the Northeast, and wider US. This is a chance to move beyond traditional building projects and into energy infrastructure that is actively being funded and built.Why this role stands out: Work on large-scale renewable energy projects (solar + BESS), Get exposure to full project lifecycle (development ? construction), Be part of a growing EPC with strong project pipeline, Opportunity to learn and transition into renewables (no deep solar experience required). What youll be doing: Build detailed cost estimates for: Solar (DG + utility-scale), Battery storage (BESS) & Infrastructure works, Analyze drawings, specs, and site conditions, Solicit and level subcontractor/vendor pricing, Support bid strategy, value engineering, and risk analysis, Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams. What were looking for: Estimating experience within: Commercial construction, OR Electrical/Infrastructure, Strong understanding of full project costing (not just takeoffs), Experience in design-build or EPC environments preferred, Interest in renewable energy / infrastructure.
