Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.The Demolition Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, offroad haul trucks, and skid steers. This role involves performing tasks related to construction, excavation, and site preparation while ensuring safety and efficiency.Essential FunctionsSafely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, offroad haul trucks, and skid steers.Prepare construction site by digging trenches, leveling ground, and moving materials.Load and unload materials such as soil, sand, gravel, and debris using machinery.Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition and report any issues.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in demolitionExperience in the construction and/or environmental remediation field required OSHA 10 of higher construction training preferred HAZWOPER 40 Forklift certification preferred Experience operating hydraulic attachmentsPhysical RequirementsCoordination: Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sitesAttendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job functionWorking Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheresPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessaryLifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and heavier weights with the proper equipmentClimbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and laddersRegularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlAbility to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform workTotal RewardsAt EnviroVantage, we’re committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.CompensationCompensation Range: $30.00 - $40.00/hourActual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.BenefitsHealth Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire.Retirement Plans: 401(k) – 100% company match on the first 4% of employee contributions.Paid Time Off & HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per yearSick Time: 56 hours per yearPaid Holidays: 8 company-paid holidays per yearApplicants must submit an application.Equal Opportunity Employer: Committed to hiring protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process, please contact Human Resources at 800-640-53523 or hr@envirovantage.com.
