Auto Service Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Greet customers and listen to their concerns or requests - Suspend vehicle issues and concerns to the appropriate mechanic or service technician - Transmit accurate information to mechanics regarding customer requests and vehicle symptoms - Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on automotive diagnostics - Explain repair processes and estimated costs to customers in a clear and understandable manner - Schedule appointments for service and communicate with customers regarding appointment details - Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs or maintenance - Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns - Assist with sales of additional services or products, such as brake repair or alignment services Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in computer systems and software used in dealership service departments We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
