The Greystone Inn, a premier lakeside luxury resort nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina, is seeking an experienced and dynamicGeneral Managerto lead our team and oversee the daily operations of the property. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring strong operational performance, team engagement, and financial success. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for service excellence, team development, and operational integrity. This individual will set the tone for the property, uphold the high standards of the Greystone Inn brand, and foster a culture of hospitality and accountability across all departments.Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and support to department leaders and team members across the property Oversee all daily operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and guest services Manage financial performance including budgeting, payroll oversight, forecasting, and revenue optimization Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members while maintaining a strong culture of hospitality and accountability Develop, coach, and mentor employees to support professional growth and high performance Ensure service standards and operational excellence are consistently delivered Maintain strong guest satisfaction through attentive service, problem resolution, and proactive communication Collaborate with ownership and corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and property goalsQualifications Proven leadership experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort management Strong operational and customer service background Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams Experience managing budgets, payroll, revenue performance, and forecasting Strong administrative and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to maintain high service standards in a luxury or boutique hospitality environmentAbout The Greystone Inn Located on the shores of Lake Toxaway, The Greystone Inn is one of North Carolina's most distinguished resort destinations, known for its timeless charm, exceptional service, and unforgettable guest experiences.
