Associate, Quantitative Developer
Role Overview The Quantitative Developer will help implement efficiency-improving solutions for the monthly valuation of commercial mortgage loans.
Key Responsibilities Analyze investment data and make detailed inferences or attributions.
Assess complex financial models for opportunities to make efficiency improvements.
Use AI coding tools and agents to improve the efficiency and/or reduce the complexity of Excel workflows.
Write code that ingests and exports data to/from Excel and databases.
Translate parts of Excel models into C# code for use on a website application.
Learn and use Azure Data Factory (ADF) to extract, transform, and load data.
Add time-saving and helpful features to our .NET Core website applications.
Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience.
Strong background and familiarity with at least one type of real estate equity and/or debt investment (e.g., REITs, CMBS, RMBS, or whole loan trading).
Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (C# preferred; Java, C++, or Python acceptable).
Experience manipulating database data using SQL (Microsoft T-SQL, Oracle SQL, or Snowflake SQL with willingness to primarily use Microsoft T-SQL).
Experience working with complex Excel workbooks.
College degree or higher in a STEM field (master's, PhD welcome but not required).
Preferred Qualifications Experience with web development.
Willingness to adopt the latest AI technology.
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory.
Compensation & Benefits Base Compensation Range: $112,440.00 to $164,868.00 annually. This range may vary based on location and experience. The role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
