Director of Finance & Accounting | Lynk EngineersLead the financial strategy at Lynk Engineers—and play a key role in shaping our next phase of growth.Lynk Engineers is looking for a Director of Finance & Accounting to lead our financial operations and partner closely with leadership on key business decisions. This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you’ll drive financial clarity, improve project performance, and support the company’s continued growth, with a clear path to expanded executive leadership over time.What You’ll DoLead all accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll review, and cash managementOversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with GAAPDevelop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; provide insights to support strategic decisionsBuild and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting for leadershipOversee project accounting, including WIP, revenue recognition, utilization, and project profitabilityPartner with project managers and leadership to improve financial performance, billing, and collectionsManage audits, tax compliance, and internal controlsOptimize accounting systems and processes (Deltek Vantagepoint, Ajera, Excel)Lead and mentor the accounting and finance teamWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive CPA license preferred7–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (AEC preferred)3–5+ years of leadership experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, project accounting, revenue recognition, and WIPExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity environmentsProficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint, Ajera, or similar systemsAdvanced Excel and strong analytical skillsClear communication and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsWhy Lynk EngineersYou’ll play a key role in a growing, collaborative company where your work directly impacts how we operate and scale.
