Shift Manager

As a McDonald's Shift Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during your shift. You will lead a team of employees, manage daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and customer service, and handle administrative and supervisory tasks. Your leadership will be essential in creating a positive work environment and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient operation during the shift. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure high performance. Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a professional manner. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness. Ensure adherence to McDonald's operational standards and procedures. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times. Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for customers. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Conduct regular quality checks on food items and service. Administrative Duties: Handle cash management, including opening and closing procedures and cash register reconciliation. Complete shift reports and other required documentation. Assist with scheduling and staff management. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry is preferred. Experience with McDonald's operations is a plus. Skills and Attributes: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Availability: Flexible scheduling availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat and kitchen equipment.
